First #Hitchintweetup (won’t be the last)
How did it go? Well judging by the multitude of tweets this morning requesting another I would hazard a guess at and say ‘it went well’.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little worried it might be me and a free magnum of Prosecco (thank you Radcliffe Arms) but thankfully at one point there were 15 of us and a room filled with laughter.
@stansbie was the first to arrive and probably felt like he’d been stood up, sat at the long table for 20ish all on his tod but once the Prosecco was opened more lovely Hitchin tweeters arrived. 
@amtstevens received a warm welcome, probably as she looked fabulous despite having only given birth a few weeks ago, @marcrisby and @becnard provided much hilarity although this was temporarily upstaged by a brief but memorable appearance from @nicolajaynepope, @jamesbunker and @elliottlawrence. Highlights of the evening were @hitchinchippy trying hard to convince everyone that he did not run a fish and chip shop and a Manchester interloper!
